Hello I’m James. I’m passionate about telling stories with purpose crafting authentic moments with emotion, energy, beauty and drama.
I love sport, community, people and movement.
From grassroots to professional the power sport has to bring people and their communities together is unique.
From the fun, buzzing energy to those more sensitive moments I use a range of techniques across stills and motion to bring life and love to the stories I’m telling.
I’ve been shooting for 18 years(!) so I bring a wealth of experience. Shooting with me is fun, energetic, collaborative and open. I love to find a way to make a shoot unique and I fully support that no shoot is solely led by one persons ego, it’s always a team effort.
I surround myself with a talented crew who love to collaborate at every level. Every shoot has its unique requirements so rather than a one size fits all approach to production, I work directly with an agency, production company or client and we pick the best production plan for each job.
