Hello I’m James. I’m passionate about telling stories, capturing emotion, moments and crafting authenticity in the world of Movement, Sport, Active Life and Community.
I love sport, from grassroots to professional and the power it has bringing people and their communities together.
I love photographing community, movement, emotive moments and intimate emotions. From all the fun to those more sensitive moments, bringing life to the stories I’m telling.
Capturing authentic, aspirational vignettes and moments with energy, beauty or drama is what I strive to bring to each brief.
I’ve been shooting for 18 years(!) so I bring a wealth of experience. Shooting with me is fun, energetic, collaborative and open. I love to find a way to make a shoot unique and I fully support that no shoot is solely led by one persons ego, it’s always a team effort!
I surround myself with a strong talented crew who love to collaborate at every level. Every shoot has its unique requirements so rather than a one size fits all approach to production, I work directly with an agency, production company or client and we pick the best production plan for each job.
